ABOUT ME
Personal Profile
Hello! I’m Jesse Adams, a lifelong car enthusiast turned professional detailer.
I’ve spent most of my life around cars — as a qualified mechanic, semi-pro racing driver, automotive journalist for nearly 20 years, private car collection caretaker and working in PR for Jaguar Land Rover.
Now, I run 33 Detailing, offering a premium mobile car detailing service for people who care about their vehicles as much as I do. I started this business to share my love of cars with clients who appreciate the appearance of theirs.
If you’re someone who values meticulous work and a deep knowledge of cars, I’d love to take care of yours. Feel free to contact me to talk about what your car needs and how I can help.

I began my automotive career as a high schooler at Simmons Automotive in Ghent, NY, where I learned mechanical fundamentals and work ethic. I became an ASE-certified mechanic in suspension, brakes, and steering, working at both a European specialist in Chatham and the Bedard Bros dealership in Massachusetts.
In my twenties, I pursued professional racing, earning the 2002 CAR Magazine Rookie of the Year title, winning multiple historic racing championships, and later competing internationally — including a podium in the Audi TT Cup (Germany, 2016) and setting a Guinness World Record for the Longest Drift (2017).
Alongside racing, I built a two-decade career in automotive journalism, serving as Senior Automotive Journalist for South Africa’s largest newspaper group. This role took me worldwide, testing new models, meeting industry leaders, and deepening my expertise.
From 2019–2023, I transitioned to automotive PR, representing Jaguar Land Rover, the National Automobile Dealers Association, Isuzu Motors, and a leading vehicle-finance bank.
In 2024 I settled back in my hometown of Chatham, NY and opened 33 Detailing - a professional car detailing service which I take as seriously as every position in my career previously.
